Welcome to the home ofHorseback Beach Adventures Where Anyone can be a Kid We have been established and giving top quality beach horse riding experiences to people wanting to experience Durban from a different perspective since 1995. Our farm, Equine Ranch, is situated in the Durban south area, next door to the old Durban airport. We specialize in exhilarating Beach Adventures on the beautiful Reunion beach in the south of Durban. All rides have at least 1 experienced guide to show you the way and look after you to the best of their ability, and basic instruction is given on every ride. So on every ride, you will learn something new. We do our upmost to suit each rider to a horse just right for them; we cater for all riding levels, including families and riders who have non-riding partners. Experienced riders will be delighted with our selection of fit and healthy horses. And those who have not had much experience, never ridden or are a little more nervous are mounted on safe and reliable horses. You will be riding a horse that you wish you could take home with you. May Specials June Specials Horse Mastership Course 02 June 2012 Perfect for beginners, nervous riders, a refresher course, and for anyone wanting to have their own horse. Back by popular demand, this special 3hr hands-on course is designed to give you a taste of what being a true horseman/woman is like. We start off with feeding the horses, and each student will be taught how to safely work with the horses, and prepare a horse to be ridden. Once all the horses are ready to ride, students will mount and be given basic instruction of how to control their horses (for those who have some previous experience with horses, there will be new things to learn for you too). Once each rider has learnt the basic controls and trust of their horse, we’ll be putting those skills to use by going for a short trail ride, where the riders can put into practice what they have just learnt out in the open, this will help all to retain the instruction for future use. This 3hr course will be at 2pm on Saturday June 2nd and will cost only R350pp. Booking is essential. Contact us for bookings and enquiries. Sundowner Beach Ride 03 June 2012 Take a lazy Sunday afternoon ride to the beach, stopping for a glass of bubbly (non-alcoholic of course) while watching the sun setting in the west and the moon rising over the beach. Then taking a relaxed an magical ride back to the farm bathed in the light of the moon. This +-3hr trail will cost you only R390pp Booking Essential.
